Coral beaches, palm trees and blue lagoons

The Cheriyam & Thinnakara islands form part of Lakshadweep group of islands. These uninhabitated islands are spread over 45 acres, with a smooth snow-white beaches, palm trees and a lagoon on the eastern spread. The water here is so clear that one can see the beautiful corals and fish at the seabed.

One can swim, suntan, go beachcombing or explore the islands' many walking trails and reefs. Partake of all the little surprises and impossible contrasts which these islands offer, some of which can be related to their unique biological past.

Another option is to kayak, padal-boat, sail on yachts, go scuba-diving, snorkelling, or take a

breath-taking ride in one of the glass-bottomed boats over the lagoon and watch the abundant marine life in matchless hues of turquoise, greens and blues.
